VP Engineering MEMS Technology

Position of VP Engineering for a northeast based, publicly traded rapidly-growing fabless semiconductor company with proprietary solution in MEMS technology which integrates leading edge sensor technology with mixed signal processing circuitry onto a reliable, high quality, single chip using a standard CMOS IC process.
The Vice President of Engineering will lead the engineering team in both the US and China in the design and development of their next generation chips.

This is both a technical leadership and management role. In order to effectively drive the overall design, you must be a proficient people manager, with an understanding of Asian culture and be able to effectively manage locations within the US and in Asia.
As Vice President of Engineering, you will lead a team of Engineers and be responsible for
Interfacing with customers to understand requirements for new and existing generations of products
Working with the marketing team to define new products and product features based on customer needs, emerging standards and protocols
Make technical presentations to Marketing, Senior Management and customers
Participate in all aspects of the product development including gathering requirements, detailed design, design review, and development
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have minimum of 15 years total experience, 5 of which are in a Director or Vice President level in a semiconductor company specializing in MEMS technology
Proven track record both in technical and management accomplishments
Strong track record of delivering products on time
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required
Ability to motivate, strategize with, and proactively lead a bright team of engineers
As an officer of the company, you will need to have an understanding of fiduciary responsibilities required at this level and provide excellent references
You must have an MSEE / Ph.D. with 10+ years relevant experience.
SALARY RANGE: $175K + stock options and excellent benefits

Product Marketing Manager

Belonging to our Global Product Marketing team, the Product Marketing Manager provides product line support for business strategy, sales readiness and channel support. This position requires close interaction with product development, regional marketing, Marketing communications, and sales management.
Duties include:
Identify and develop winning strategies to maximize success opportunity in high volume/growth market segments.
Manage the entire product cycle by owning the product definition (MRD) and product development schedule for silicon and reference designs.
Plan, manage and execute product launches, working closely with Regional Marketing, Marketing Communications and Field organizations.
Develop sales tools and continually provide update on market and product news
Drive design-win activities with Sales team as well as working closely with strategic customers
Identify opportunities for growth at the customer, market segment, and regional levels.
Defining short and long-term business objectives for focus products and communicating to throughout the organization.
Identify and manage relationships with key partners
Perform market research and competitive analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Master degree or higher is preferred.
5+ years working experience for a components distribution company or semiconductor manufacturer. At least 3 years experience in product marketing position. Experience with semiconductor in Cell phone, consumer and automotive/industrial applications/market will be a plus.
